Staff Coats

  • To be used by: Physician staff employed by Cleveland Clinic.
  • Description: Long white professional lab coat with back belt.
  • Logo placement: Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland Clinic Children’s or Cleveland Clinic hospital-specific logo when required, eg. Cleveland Clinic Akron General, Cleveland Clinic Florida.
  • Name and degree: Left chest (black thread), option for department name (left, bottom line, eg. Department of Psychiatry).

System Coats

  • To be used by: Non-employed independent physicians working in Cleveland Clinic inpatient facilities or family health centers, Cleveland Clinic employed Advanced Practice Providers, Nurse Managers, Pharmacists, Social Workers, Case Managers.
  • Description: Long white professional lab coat without back belt.
  • Logo placement: Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland Clinic Children’s or Cleveland Clinic hospital-specific logo when required, eg. Cleveland Clinic Akron General, Cleveland Clinic Florida.
  • Name and degree: Left chest (black thread), option for functional title/department name (left, bottom line, eg. Nurse Manager, Department of Psychiatry).

Resident Coats

  • To be used by: Employed residents and fellows.
  • Logo placement: No logo.
  • Name and degree: On right chest (blue thread).




Plain Coats

  • Available to all caregivers requiring a lab coat as approved by department manager.




Work Apparel

Right Chest:

  • Line 1: Cleveland Clinic logo.
  • Line 2: Hospital or department.

Left Chest:

  • Name and credentials.
