About Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Education
Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are non-physician healthcare providers who perform medical activities typically performed by physicians. APPs are sometimes referred to as mid-level practitioners.
Florida Education provides APP education opportunities for clinical rotations for:
- Anesthesiologist Assistants (AA).
- Nurse Anesthetists (SRNA/CRNA).
- Nurse Practitioners (all types).
- Physician Assistants (PA).
Education and clinical training vary by the position and location.
Please note: Nursing education (excluding anesthesiologist assistant, nurse anesthetist (SRNA/CRNA), nurse practitioner, and physician assistant) does not fall under the umbrella of the Florida Education. Please contact directly with Nursing at Cleveland Clinic in Florida for information about Cleveland Clinic nursing education.
