Dr. Tim Rindlisbacher, MD, is the Director of Sports Health at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Dr. Rindlisbacher provides physical assessments, diagnoses and treatment plans for Sports Health patients.
Dr. Rindlisbacher earned his medical degree from the University of Toronto and completed both his internship and residency training at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Dr. Rindlisbacher is currently the Head Team Physician for the Toronto Argonauts and the Mississauga Steelheads of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Dr. Rindlisbacher has also acted as the Team Physician for other professional sports teams including the Toronto Raptors, Buffalo Bills and Toronto Roadrunners Hockey Club.
Passionate about hockey, Dr. Rindlisbacher has provided his medical expertise to junior hockey teams for over 16 years including the Mississauga Ice Dogs, Mississauga St. Michael's Majors and Team Canada’s Under-18 Men's and World Junior National Teams. Dr. Rindlisbacher has also provided medical coverage for other teams and events including the Canadian Freestyle Ski Team, Skate Canada, Gymnastics Canada, and the Toronto and Mississauga Marathons.
Widely respected for his leadership qualities, Dr. Rindlisbacher is a consultant to the National Hockey League Players Association (NHLPA) and the National Ballet School (NBS) of Canada. Dr. Rindlisbacher has also appeared on CTV and TSN, and contributed Sports Health articles to the National Post.
