Tim Rindlisbacher, MD, BSc (PT)

Biography

Tim Rindlisbacher, MD., is the Director of the Sports Health program for Cleveland Clinic Canada. Dr. Rindlisbacher has a specialty interest in the area of sports health and provides physical assessments and wellness programming for clients enrolled in many of our lifestyle management programs.

Dr. Rindlisbacher earned his medical degree from the University of Toronto and completed both his internship and residency at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto. He has acted as team physician for the Toronto Raptors, Buffalo Bills, Toronto Argonauts and Toronto Roadrunners Hockey Club. He has provided team medical coverage to junior hockey teams for over 12 years including the Mississauga Ice Dogs, Mississauga St. Michael's Majors and Team Canada ‘Under 18’ Men's and World Junior National Teams. Dr. Rindlisbacher is a consultant to the National Hockey League Players Association and the National Ballet School of Canada. He has also provided team and event coverage for the Canadian Freestyle Ski Team, Skate Canada, Gymnastics Canada and Toronto and Mississauga Marathons. A recognized expert-in-the-field, Dr. Rindlisbacher writes a weekly sports health column in the National Post.

When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Rindlisbacher enjoys playing hockey and writing chapters for his sports medicine textbook.
