Biography

Kelley Wright, MD, is a family physician in our Concierge Medicine Program. Deeply committed to the well-being of her patients, her compassionate, patient-centred approach focuses on health education and fostering strong relationships with her patients. She brings a wealth of experience to her patients and is dedicated to delivering world-class medical care to her community.

With extensive experience in elder care and geriatric medicine, Dr. Wright has significantly impacted the well-being of senior patients as the Medical Director for multiple Long-Term Care (LTC) facilities. Her commitment to enhancing the quality of patient care in this area led her to pursue further studies in earning a Certificate in Elder Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, solidifying her position as a trusted leader in long-term care.

Dr. Wright's academic journey began with completing an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Ottawa, graduating magna cum laude. She then pursued her Doctor of Medicine at McMaster University, followed by a Family Medicine Residency at the University of Toronto and a Fellowship in Family Medicine, obtaining a Certificate of Added Competence (COE) in Care of the Elderly. Her dedication to professional growth is reflected in her participation in various leadership and professional development programs; formerly in the Canadian Armed Forces, she practiced as a Medical Officer at Base Borden until she retired from the military in 2003; she currently serves as a Civil Aviation Medical Examiner for Transport Canada, where she is certified in civil and military aviation medicine. Most recently, Dr. Wright has expanded her scope of practice to include aesthetic medicine as a certified cosmetic injector and Medical Director for a medical aesthetics practice.
