Biography
Michelle Lee is a Registered Dietitian at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Ms. Lee has experience providing individual nutrition consultations for diabetes, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, weight management, and perinatal nutrition. She has a strong interest in chronic disease management (ie- high cholesterol and high blood pressure), and mindful eating.
Ms. Lee first obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences and Psychology from the University of Toronto, before going on to obtain her Master of Science in Human Nutrition from McGill University in Quebec. She completed her Dietetic Internship at McGill University, rotating between a hospital setting, long-term care, and community placements.
After graduation, Ms. Lee relocated to Hong Kong where she worked as a dietitian providing nutrition consultations in a community setting for chronic health issues. She is passionate about increasing accessibility to nutrition education and helping individuals make healthier diet choices. Drawing on her dual background in health and psychology, Ms. Lee is dedicated to making her patients feel comfortable and motivating them to make positive changes in their diets and lifestyles.
When she’s not seeing patients, Ms. Lee enjoys trying new restaurants and cuisines, jogging, road cycling and dragon boating.
