Biography

Jeffrey Weinberg, MD, is an Executive Health Physician at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Dr. Weinberg has experience in a wide variety of clinical areas, including cardiology, pain management, urgent care, tertiary care, pediatrics and emergency medicine. He enjoys being part of a multidisciplinary health team which is focused on wellness and preventative medicine for a motivated and knowledgeable patient population.

Dr. Weinberg obtained his Doctor of Medicine from McGill University before going on to complete a Residency in Family Medicine at Ottawa Civic Hospital, followed by an additional Residency in Emergency Medicine at the Ottawa Hospital.

Dr. Weinberg has a particular interest in chronic pain management, and is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management as well as a member of the Canadian Pain Society and the International Association for the Study of Pain. His research on the use of nerve blocks to improve quality of life has been published in the journal of Practical Pain Management. Additionally, he enjoys practicing urgent care medicine which is the opposite end of the spectrum as it involves helping patients with their episodic acute medical concerns.

When he’s not treating patients, Dr. Weinberg enjoys spending time with his family and staying active with hockey, squash, downhill and water skiing. He is fluent in English, French and Hebrew.
