Rowena Leung is a Registered Dietitian supporting the Executive Health Program at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Ms. Leung is a Certified Diabetes Educator and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology from The University of Western Ontario. She completed her dietetic internship at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. She is passionate about continuing her education to further her expertise as a subject matter expert and instructor and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Education program at the University of Toronto.

Ms. Leung has 15 years of experience working as an in-store Dietitian at Loblaws, in private counselling and diabetes education. Also working in long-term care facilities and on healthcare teams in the community, she has developed a patient-centred approach to chronic disease management. Ms. Leung is an accomplished speaker and has had several opportunities to engage with the media speaking with Mon Sheong Foundation Magazine, Rogers DayTimeTV, and FairChild Radio on topics like holiday eating, cultural diets, boosting digestive health, tips for seniors, to name a few. Rowena is also an instructor at McMaster Continuing Education.

In her practice, Ms. Leung is passionate about nutrition and has a wealth of knowledge. She also speaks Cantonese and Mandarin.

When she’s not seeing patients, Ms. Leung enjoys spending time with her mini golden doodle and her two young kids. Rowena is brushing up on her tennis game and would like to get back into reformer Pilates.
