Biography
Gurbir Martin is a Nurse Practitioner at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Ms. Martin has experience providing care in a wide range of clinical areas, including cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, general surgery, emergency care, rehabilitation and neurology, musculoskeletal-orthopaedic surgery, pediatrics, post-partum, cancer care, general medicine, and complex care.
Ms. Martin first obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Waterloo before going on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at York University. She completed a Certificate in Critical Care Nursing at Humber College before obtained her Master of Science as a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner at York University.
Active in her home province health network, Ms. Martin is the Vice-President of the Medical Association for the West Prince Network. She is dedicated to increasing access to primary care for Canadians, and believes that telemedicine is an excellent tool for providing quick assessments and treatments for patients.
When she’s not treating patients, Ms. Martin enjoys maintaining her garden property, raising chickens in the summer months, and hiking with friends.
