The Harry T. Mangurian Jr. Simulation Center was developed in 2020, thanks to a generous donation from the Harry T. Mangurian Jr. Foundation. The legacy of Dorothy and Harry Mangurian continues through the foundation’s commitments to education and training. Each caregiver who benefits from this generosity has the tools to make a difference in communities around the world. We are grateful for all that this donation has made possible. 

Mission

The mission of the Harry T. Mangurian Jr. Simulation Center is to support education, scholarship, and training of those who serve and foster the delivery of quality patient care and safety.

Goals

  • Set new standards in the way technical skills are taught, learned, and assessed in healthcare.
  • Use innovative approaches that allow learners to become competent healthcare providers.
  • Act as a center for continuous self-improvement of technical or psychomotor skills for training and practicing providers while using Cleveland Clinic’s intellectual capacity.
  • Support skills education and performance in an environment of delivering quality patient care and safety.
  • Create an environment of translational research in healthcare skills education.
