Biography

Dr. Jane Wu is a Canadian and US board-certified dermatologist, and the Physician Lead for Specialist Services at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Dr. Wu’s practice includes treating patients with general medical dermatology conditions such as skin cancer, eczema, psoriasis, and acne as well as cosmetic procedures including benign lesion removal and injectables (neuromodulators and fillers).

Dr. Wu studied medicine at McMaster University in Hamilton before completing her dermatology residency at the University of Toronto. She served as chief resident during her final year of training, and was recognized for her clinical and academic excellence. Dr. Wu has a special interest in skin cancer prevention and acne treatment, as well as medical and cosmetic dermatology in skin of colour.

Eager to share her knowledge, Dr. Wu is active in teaching and has led sessions at the University of Toronto, SickKids Hospital and Women’s College Hospital. She is an active participant at academic conferences and has presented at the national and international level.  Dr. Wu has volunteered her time to organizations such as the Canadian Skin Patient Alliance.

When she’s not working, Dr. Wu likes to spend time with family and friends, read, and paint.  She is also an avid traveller and loves to explore different parts of the world.
