Program Overview
All subspecialty areas of pediatric orthopedics are represented by our large, diverse faculty. This is a clinical fellowship, designed to train fellows in the care of children with complex orthopaedic problems. The treatment of spine deformity is integrated throughout the fellowship year. At least one basic or clinical research project will be completed and submitted for publication by the end of the fellowship year. The fellow will participate in and direct weekly teaching conferences on children’s orthopaedic topics. Clinical mentorship with each of the full-time academic pediatric orthopedic surgeons comprised the majority of the fellowship training. Fellows are expected to participate in the call schedule as well as follow-up trauma clinics.
