Clinical interests: (1) Peripheral artery disease (PAD), especially evaluation of limb pain and medical management of claudication, (2) Cardiovascular/atherosclerosis risk factor modification in PAD and carotid disease/stroke. (3) Evaluation and medical management of the surgical patient undergoing noncardiac vascular surgery, (4) Evaluation and management of limb swelling and chronic venous insufficiency, lymphedema, varicose veins. arteriovenous malformation/capillary venous malformations. (5) Catheter therapy for varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency; laser/radiofrequency catheter ablation, and sclerotherapy/foam injections. (6) Evaluation and treatment of complex venous thromboembolism, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and complex atherothromboembolism. (7) Evaluation and management of coagulopathies and the use of direct oral anti-factor 10 anticoagulants. (8) Evaluation and management of less common vascular disoders i.e. thromboangiitis obliterans (TAO), the vasculitides, and vasospastic disorders, (9) Evaluation and management of wounds including venous wounds, arterial leg wounds, surgical/trauma related wounds, sickle cell associated leg wounds, and adjutant hyperbaric oxygen therapy in wound healing.
