Cleveland Clinic provides clinical placements for over 6000 undergraduate nursing students from over 14 Schools of Nursing in Ohio. These undergraduate students are placed in clinical group rotations with their instructors and individual senior practicums with on-site nurse preceptors. We have affiliate agreements with the Schools of Nursing to develop new nurse professionals and promote health education. We are also members of the Northeast Ohio Nurse Initiative (NEONI) who manages the clinical placement system used at CC to connect student and schools with a clinical site location.
As a nursing student at Cleveland Clinic, there are many opportunities for educational experiences through the Schools of Nursing across several clinical specialty areas. We offer student nurse employment options through our Human Resource Department, such as patient care nursing assistants, and Health Care Unit Coordinators which will further expose the student to the healthcare environment.
Student Nurses are a vital part of the future workforce for Nursing and we are committed to the nursing school programs in supporting the clinical component of the education.
