PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Resident

Dr. James P. Moran is from Buffalo, New York and received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from D’Yovuille College, School of Pharmacy. As a student, he completed various patient centered care projects and poster presentations where his interest for pursuing a residency began. His main areas of interests are critical care and academia. After his residency, James plans to pursue a PGY-2 specialty practice residency in critical care. Ultimately, he would like to obtain a clinical position at an academic medical center where he can provide direct patient care services, as well as precept students and residents. Jim is enrolled in the NEOMED teaching certificate program as part of his residency experience. In his leisure time, James enjoys reading, running, and playing and watching tennis.

Samuel Boateng, PharmD

PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Resident

Dr. Samuel Boateng is from Cincinnati Ohio. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Cincinnati College of pharmacy. His interest in pursuing pharmacy practice residency began while working as a pharmacy intern at a community hospital in Cincinnati. Samuel's practice interests include Cardiology, critical care, and geriatrics. After his residency, Samuel plans to obtain a clinical position at an acute care community hospital where he can provide direct patient care services as well as precept students and residents. In his leisure time, Samuel enjoys playing soccer, watching basketball, movies and spending time with friends and family.
