Get Vaccinated

The flu vaccine is your best line of defense against the flu each year. Getting vaccinated before the flu season starts reduces your chances of getting the flu. It can also mean that if you do get sick, your symptoms might not be as severe.

Appointments Required

We’re taking extra precautions to keep our patients and caregivers safe. Cleveland Clinic flu vaccines will be available by appointment only this year (no walk-in flu vaccines will be offered) at our family health centers, medical office buildings and primary care practices.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Here’s how you can schedule your flu vaccine appointment:

  • If you already use MyChart, you can schedule a flu vaccine appointment through your MyChart account. To enroll in MyChart, you can sign up here.
  • Call your primary care physician’s office — or your child’s pediatrician – to schedule a nurse flu vaccine appointment. If you already have an upcoming appointment scheduled with your primary care doctor, you can receive the flu vaccine then. Many specialists also offer the flu vaccine in their offices. The flu shot is recommended for anyone 6 months and older.
  • Not near a Cleveland Clinic location? There are many places you can get your flu shot. Find a location near you to get your vaccine.
