Offering Free Wigs, Scarves, and Caps
The Wig Boutique carries complimentary wigs, hats and other accessories for Cleveland Clinic cancer patients actively undergoing treatment. A wig can help a patient's self-esteem, confidence, sense of normalcy and make her feel like herself again.
There are a variety of wigs to accommodate different hair textures, cuts and colors. A licensed and certified Cosmetologist is available to assist the patient in the selection and styling of a wig.
Fittings by appointment are recommended.

The boutique is located on the first floor of Taussig Cancer Center at Main Campus.

About the Wig Boutique
Ms. Giltinan decided to fund a program that would help other patients like her access beautiful wigs right there in the hospital. She made a gift establishing a wig boutique at Cleveland Clinic's Taussig Cancer Institute for patients whose treatments have caused hair loss.
"If you go through treatment optimistically, if you stay positive, it makes a difference," says Ms. Giltinan. "What your mind tells itself is very important. The doctors do everything they can, but you have to be accountable to yourself. Having a wig makes you feel optimistic and happier, and it makes your healing better."
The Taussig Cancer Center Wig Boutique gives away an average of 50 wigs per month, by appointment.
