Primary Care
The primary care physicians at Sheffield Family Health Center fall into three categories: internal medicine, family medicine and pediatrics.
- Internists treat adults, age 18 and older. Internists have in-depth training in adult medical care, from prevention and wellness to complex diseases.
- Family physicians see patients of all ages, from newborns to elderly adults. They are trained in many areas, including pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, adult medicine and behavioral health.
- Pediatricians care for children, from birth to age 21. In addition to caring for physical needs, pediatricians are specialized at guiding children through different stages of emotional and social development.
Audiology
Audiograms are available for patients concerned about hearing loss or pitch/frequency sensitivity.
Diabetes
The endocrine system is a major control system of the body, regulating temperature, metabolism and other processes. Specialists at Cleveland Clinic provide comprehensive diabetes care to patients diagnosed with diabetes or those who may be at risk for the disease.
Nuclear Medicine
The Department of Nuclear Medicine utilizes radioactive materials to diagnose the presence of disease in the body and to treat multiple types of cancer, as well as conditions such as Graves’ disease.
Physical Therapy
Specially trained rehabilitation therapists work with patients to enhance flexibility, strength, coordination, balance, endurance and mobility. Schedule varies.
Radiology
Services include: CT scans, general X-ray, MRI, digital mammography, echocardiogram and ultrasound.
Vascular Medicine
Vascular Medicine specialists offer comprehensive care to patients with diseases of the vascular system (arteries, veins, blood vessels), including peripheral artery disease and Raynaud's syndrome, as well as coagulation and thrombotic abnormalities.
