Overview
The mission of the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital Medical Library is to ensure excellence in the management, access and dissemination of knowledge-based information in order to support quality patient care.
The library features approximately 1,100 books, online access to 50,000+ electronic journals and e-books, access to over 100 citation and full-text databases, nine computer workstations, a scanner, and a copier. The library also offers electronic access to the health sciences literature via MercyNet, the Medical Center’s Intranet, which includes access to our subscriptions to bibliographic and full-text databases.
Mediated searching, interlibrary loan, and training on use of our resources is provided.
The library is available to all employees, attending physicians, and rotating students of Mercy Medical Center. The library, located next to the Mercy Chapel on the first floor of the Mercy Timken Home, is not open to the public.
