Cleveland Clinic Florida's Cancer Research staff is dedicated to providing patients innovative therapies through clinical research trials which include new targeted agents and therapies. Cancer specialists from The Maroone Cancer's Departments of Hematology and Oncology serve as principal investigators for the trials, working closely with the research staff and collaborating with the world-renowned Taussig Cancer Institute at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Cleveland Clinic Florida also participates in many clinical trials with the National Cancer Institute.

Research Fellows Program

CCF Florida is ranked as the No 1 Hospital in South Florida. The cancer program at CCF FL is designated as an Academic Comprehensive Cancer Program by ACS.

The Maroone Cancer center serves over 3000 patients per month in the ambulatory setting for medical oncology and radiation oncology care, in addition to a dedicated inpatient hematology service Our program is robust, both clinically and academically.

This one-year, non-ACGME accredited research fellowship is designed to prepare physicians for research focused on oncologic malignancies. They will increase their research experience which would further their chances in applying to a residency program or to pursue a career in oncology research.

The ideal candidate holds and an MD o DO degree and has participated in prior research projects with a demonstrated track in publishing peer reviewed manuscripts.
