Conference Objectives
Illustrate and Reinforce the Physiological basis for fetal heart monitoring:
- Assessment, interpretation and management of fetal heart patterns and uterine activity
- Evaluation of the impact of clinical intervention
- Importance of communication, collaboration and documentation while promoting patient safety.
The hands-on portion of the class includes Leopold maneuvers, fetal scalp electrode, and interuterine pressure catheter insertion.
