Overview
Cleveland Clinic's Stanley Shalom Zielony Institute for Nursing Excellence welcomes interested individuals to participate in a 4-hour shadowing experience, Monday-Friday, at one of our Cleveland Clinic locations across Northeast Ohio.
The Nursing Shadow Program provides high school students (age 15 and over), college students, and adult learners an opportunity to observe Cleveland Clinic nurses, interact with patients at the bedside, allowing a firsthand experience of the profession. Participants will experience how Cleveland Clinic nurses deliver world class care to patients and their families, communicate and coordinate with other members of the team and expertly navigate their way through the healthcare environment to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. This is a strictly observational experience with no hands-on patient care and does not qualify as credit towards clinical hours.
