Patients referred to the Preventive Cardiology department for primary prevention who could not tolerate statins experienced reductions in low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels. Patients were seen at baseline, defined as their first visit, and had at least 2 follow-up visits within the past 2 years. The time between visits varied from patient to patient.
