Understanding the Scope of the Clinical Review Solution

Clinical Review is a comprehensive service designed to optimize diagnosis and treatment plans for adult participants (18 years or older) who already have a medical diagnosis and treatment plan in place. The service is offered across all service lines. It is intended to deliver essential information and education to participants and screen for potential treatment options. This service is not offered to acutely ill individuals who require immediate medical attention.

Participant-Facing Clinical Review

Cleveland Clinic engages directly with the participant, providing them with a clear understanding of their medical condition, potential treatment options, and facilitating access to the right Cleveland Clinic specialist. It empowers them to make informed decisions about their healthcare.

A participants' medical records are coordinated by and sent to the Cleveland Clinic. A physician will review the records and educate and inform participants about potential treatment options for similar symptoms and conditions or suggest a further review with a Cleveland Clinic specialist.  Should the participant choose to receive care from Cleveland Clinic, a representative will assist with initial coordination and immediate next steps. Any appointments or services that occur outside the scope of the Clinical Review will be billed to the individual's insurance.

Provider-Facing Clinical Review

Cleveland Clinic partners with the individual’s primary care provider, empowering them to deliver high-quality care informed by Cleveland Clinic’s expertise. An individual's medical records are coordinated by and sent to Cleveland Clinic. A physician will review the medical records and offer a comprehensive written summary via a digital platform to the primary care provider.

Should the individual choose to receive care from Cleveland Clinic, a representative will assist with initial coordination and immediate next steps. Any appointments or services that occur outside the scope of the Clinical Review will be billed to the individual’s insurance.
