As part of Cleveland Clinic's Stanley Shalom Zielony Institute for Nursing, we are dedicated to training Cleveland Clinic employees, instructors and members of our community to save lives during our NRP, BLS/CPR, ACLS and PALS courses.
Earn BLS during ACLS and PALS
We heard you — and are making our ACLS- and PALS-certified caregivers BLS-ready.
You can now demonstrate your proficiency in your Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training, earning basic and advanced course completion eCards without the need to schedule and attend another 4-hour course.
While this roll-out will be optional, we expect its popularity to grow quickly until it becomes a regular feature of ACLS and PALS training in the Cleveland Clinic enterprise.
To take advantage of this opportunity, simply schedule your ACLS or PALS course. During the course, you will complete the advanced course requirements in addition to the open-resource BLS written test and either the infant BLS skills test for ACLS providers or the adult BLS skills test for PALS providers.
