We Remember
As a way of honoring our donors, we hold an annual Celebration of Life & Learning event for the family and friends of our donors, with the hope that as we celebrate these special people, their legacy will live on.
During the event, we celebrate those who lived their lives with a spirit of generosity and service to others. The attendees hear from Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University medical students — the main beneficiaries of the body donation program — and clinical educators to help families better understand the importance of this priceless gift. Throughout the event, attendees enjoy classical musical and vocal performances. As a way to give thanks and cement the legacy of donors, each donor’s name is read aloud, and attendees are invited to light a candle in their memory.
