Biography

Noah Levine, MD, is a Family Medicine and Occupational Medicine Physician and a member of Cleveland Clinic Canada’s Medical Director Program. Dr. Levine has expertise in occupational health and safety across a variety of industrial and corporate settings, from the individual level to the programmatic level within an enterprise. His clinical interests include disability assessment and management, preventive health, insurance medicine, and substance use monitoring.

Dr. Levine obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toronto, before going on to complete his Residency in Family Medicine at Toronto East General Hospital. A strong interest in Occupational Medicine led him to pursue further education through the Foundations in Occupational Medicine program at the University of Alberta, and to obtain certification in Occupational Medicine. He is a certified Medical Review Officer. He also completed training in Insurance and Medicolegal Medicine from the Université de Montreal.

Dr. Levine acts as an External Medical Consultant for the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board as well as an Assessor for their Occupational Health Assessment Program (OHAP). Additionally, he is a member of the Occupational and Environmental Medical Association of Canada and the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators. He has a teaching appointment at the University of Toronto’s Department of Family and Community Medicine, and is on courtesy staff at University Health Network and Sunnybrook Hospital.

When he’s not managing occupational health issues, Dr. Levine enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, walking his loyal dog Samson, completing cryptic crosswords, and cheering for his beloved Toronto Raptors.
