About Neha Gupta, MD

Neha Gupta, MD, is a staff cardiologist in the Section of Regional Cardiovascular Medicine in the Tomsich Family Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute. She sees patients at Hillcrest Hospital.

Specialty Interests: Cardiac CT and MRI, echocardiography, cardio-oncology, women’s heart disease, MINOCA (MI with non-obstructive coronary arteries), preventive cardiology, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, amyloidosis, sarcoidosis, sports cardiology

She is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, cardiac MRI and nuclear cardiology.

Education: Dr. Gupta is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia. After completing an internal medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic, she relocated to Washington, DC for a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital/MedStar Washington Hospital Center. She remained there to complete a one-year fellowship in advanced cardiovascular imaging with a focus on cardiac CT and MRI.

Dr. Gupta joined the Cleveland Clinic medical staff in 2021 following completion of her fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital.

Research, Publications and Speaking: Dr. Gupta has participated in the multi-center Comparing Outcomes of Local and General Anesthesia in TranscathEter Aortic Valve Replacement (COLGATE-AVR) trial at Cleveland Clinic. She currently is enrolling patients in a clinical trial of educating patients on their cardiac imaging and medication adherence in heart failure patients and is collecting data for a study of cardiac sarcoidosis patient outcomes at Washington Hospital Center. She has co-authored more than a dozen research papers published in leading medical journals, including Journal of the American College of Cardiology and has presented at the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology forum and American College of Cardiology.
