Contact us with Questions
If you are awaiting a transplant or have already had a transplant, you probably have many questions about infections after transplantation.
In these videos doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and pharmacists from the Cleveland Clinic will answer questions about different types of infections and how we prevent them. We will also talk about the things YOU can do to minimize your risk of infection after transplant. Please do not hesitate to ask your transplant clinician or coordinator if you have additional questions.
Cleveland Clinic Infectious disease specialists reassure you that with a few simple precautions, transplant recipients can lead normal lives, and go out and do fun things. Being aware of the possible infection risks can go a long way towards lowering this risk.
