The Cleveland Metroparks is network of parks that surround the city. The parks offer recreational opportunities including hiking, fishing and cross-country skiing.

Cleveland Clinic main campus is situated three miles east of downtown Cleveland, near the city's largest cultural center University Circle, offering a large concentration of museums and cultural activities. Close by is Little Italy, a quaint and charming area of intimate Italian restaurants, antique shops and art galleries.
