For the 17th consecutive year, Cleveland Clinic’s heart program has ranked as the best in the nation, earning the No. 1 ranking in U.S. News & World Report’s “2011-12 Best Hospitals.” Since 1994, no hospital in the country has ranked higher than Cleveland Clinic in cardiac care.
Cleveland Clinic again placed among the nation’s best hospitals overall, ranking 4th in the country. Once again, the hospital’s cancer program was ranked in the Top 10 at No. 9, along with 12 other Cleveland Clinic specialties ranked in the Top 10.
Among Cleveland Clinic’s highly ranked programs, nine placed in the Top 5 and four – heart, gastroenterology, kidney disorders and urology – placed among the Top 2. Cleveland Clinic earned the highest ranking of any Ohio hospital in 15 categories.
Cleveland Clinic Florida Ranked #19 in Gastroenterology
Cleveland Clinic Florida has been ranked #19 in Gastroenterology according to U.S.News & World Report’s 2011-12 Best Hospitals. Cleveland Clinic Florida is one of only three Florida-based gastroenterology programs to make the top 50 rankings and achieved the highest ranking in the State of Florida.
