Founded in 1892, Fairview Hospital is a faith-based community hospital with 517 licensed beds. We are a fully accredited hospital by The Joint Commission, with a certified Level II Trauma Center. Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center at Fairview Hospital, located directly across the street from our main building, is accredited as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the Commission on Cancer, with an accredited breast health center.

Expanded Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit Opening in June
The new two-story facility is making room for a growing number of West Side patients in need of immediate treatment for life-threatening emergencies, and high level inpatient critical care. The expanded Emergency Department features 55 beds, two trauma rooms, and a separate Pediatric Emergency Department. The Intensive Care Unit has 38 private patient rooms, equipped with the latest technology.

Fairview Hospital offers valet and garage parking 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Valet parking is free for emergency room patients with discharge papers.
Visiting Hours
Fairview Hospital visiting policies are designed to allow for convenient visiting by family and friends. Allowing for privacy, care requirements and patient preferences are the critical elements that must be considered.

Maternity
1 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Intensive Care Unit
9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
8 p.m. - 10 p.m.
On the remainder of the hospital floors, visiting hours are flexible. Please limit the number of visitors (including children) to two at any one time. Anyone with a cough, cold, sore throat, or any contagious illness should avoid visiting a patient in the hospital.
Visitors may be requested to leave the room if a procedure or care needs to be performed and in the event of emergency situations. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
It is the discretion of the nurse to limit the number of visitors and/or length of visiting time if it interferes with the rest and recovery of the patient.
