Welcome to Cleveland Clinic Elyria Family Health and Surgery Center, conveniently located close to your home or work for routine or urgent health problems. Our patient-friendly facility offers primary care physicians, including internal medicine and family medicine specialists, pediatricians, obstetricians and gynecologists. We also offer a wide-array of specialty care services.

Our hospitalists will follow your progress and address your immediate, ongoing needs if you should be hospitalized at your local community hospital. At discharge, they will return you to your Cleveland Clinic Elyria primary care physician.

Cleveland Clinic Elyria Family Health and Surgery Center offers on-site radiology that includes MRI, a 64 channel CT scan, breast imaging and ultrasound; and laboratory services.

In addition, our Ambulatory Surgery Center offers advanced outpatient surgery that allows patients to return home soon after their procedures without the need for overnight stays.

Cleveland Clinic Elyria is celebrating its fifth year of providing care to the community.

It's been five years since the Elyria facility opened its doors to the community. The facility now boasts over 90 full-time physicians, nurses and support staff who provide adult and pediatric patients with world-class care.

We have much to be proud of and are pleased to share a few of the center’s other notable achievements: 

• We have welcomed over 390,868 patient visits and have performed more than 5994 outpatient surgeries
• The center is the hub for the Breast Health Center in Lorain County and have treated over 16,601 breast health patients, which includes mammograms and breast biopsies
• The center also offers outreach program like “Walk with a Doc’ where Cleveland Clinic physicians invite members of the community to walk and talk about health topics on Saturday mornings.

To celebrate the five-year anniversary, the center will offer refreshments in the main lobby of from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the week of February 11, 2013.

If you need additional specialists, the staff can facilitate your referral to well-known community specialists, or to a staff member at one of our local family health centers in Avon Lake, Lorain, or Avon at our Richard E. Jacobs location. Cleveland Clinic’s main campus is located two miles east of downtown Cleveland.

Express Care at Elyria

Cleveland Clinic Express Care provides no appointment necessary, walk-in medical convenience for common acute health problems. Express Care at Elyria is located in the Elyria Family Health and Surgery Center in the Chestnut Commons retail complex.
