About The Annual Evaluation
We thoroughly explore your health and well-being during the Executive Health annual evaluation. We assess several standard but important indicators of overall health and well-being. We also take time to understand your individual challenges and personal goals. We then combine all those priorities into one comprehensive evaluation.
Your visit takes place under one roof, in a private, dedicated clinic with state-of-the-art screening tools. It will be led and coordinated by a board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine and practicing preventive medicine and management of chronic diseases.
You receive most test results the same day and discuss them with a physician. When you leave the appointment, you have a roadmap to better health, wellness and work-life balance. If you need follow-up specialty care based on the findings, we help facilitate those appointments.
Preparing for your evaluation
You can schedule your evaluation promptly at a time that works best for you. We will contact you to gather details about your personal and family medical history. We also will ask you about any issues, concerns or priorities you have regarding your physical and mental health.
This information will help us design a personalized evaluation that meets your individual needs and care goals. We’ll organize all elements of your evaluation and call you to review it. We’ll also send you:

History and physical
Your Executive Health physician will take as much time as necessary to gain a thorough understanding of your:

- Risk of disease based on family history and lifestyle.
Analysis of blood and urine
Blood and urine tests are important to understand your health. The annual health evaluation usually includes:
- Cholesterol panel and lipid profile to determine risk for atherosclerosis, heart attack and stroke.
- Complete blood count to detect issues such as anemia, leukemia and other blood disorders.
- Complete metabolic profile to detect liver problems, kidney disease, gout, diabetes and other conditions.
- Tests to detect markers of inflammation in your cardiovascular system.
- Thyroid hormone screening to assess thyroid function.
- Urinalysis to detect diabetes or any issues with your kidneys or bladder.

What if my evaluation reveals a major health problem?

Where does my appointment take place?
The Executive Health Program is located in a private, quiet, dedicated space at Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital. All of your annual evaluation will take place under one roof.
The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for disease screening. It includes a lounge area where you can take a break between tests, make calls or check email. Some appointments may take place in other connected buildings on campus if you require additional testing or consultation.
Should I stay overnight?
Your evaluation will be limited to one day. If you live in South Florida and don’t mind traveling on the same day as your evaluation, you don’t need to stay overnight.
