Personalized Care
Personalized care means tailoring a treatment plan to your needs. At Taussig Cancer Institute, your physician and other cancer care specialists will advise you on the right treatment plan for you considering your health, age, type of cancer and tolerability of potential side effects.
By working with a multidisciplinary approach, our physicians are able to explore all medical, radiation, and surgical options that suit your needs the best.
Final Treatment Ceremony
After completing your final radiation treatment at the Taussig Cancer Institute, patients participate in a "bell ringing ceremony" in order to celebrate this accomplishment.
Ringing the bell helps to empower the patient and lets him or her know that cancer can be overcome.
