Who We Are
What is a Cleveland Clinic nurse? One size certainly doesn’t fit all when it comes to the multi-faceted team of nearly 20,000 caregivers within the Nursing Institute. Our nurses can be found at the bedside, on the news, training nursing students, traveling to Washington DC as key members of legislation and more. See what makes Cleveland Clinic nurses stand out above the rest.
Purposeful Hourly Rounding
In order to assure every patient’s experience is always met with a nursing team of caregivers who are responsive to the needs of our patients and families, the Stanley Shalom Zielony Institute for Nursing Excellence at Cleveland Clinic implemented purposeful hourly rounding at all Cleveland Clinic hospitals. Effective nurse rounding helps manage patient expectations, provide necessary service recovery, promote quality care, recognizes exceptional caregivers and role model behavior. Hear patients and caregivers explain purposeful hourly rounding.
