Cleveland Clinic Art Exhibition Area – between Q and G buildings
Now in its 10th year, Cleveland Clinic Art Program, Arts & Medicine Institute, has enhanced the hospital’s patient and public areas throughout the health system. While the focus is on contemporary art and artists, the mission of the program is to provide a unique and potentially meaningful experience for patients, visitors, and employees as they view the artworks. Global diversity, innovation, collaboration, and the human condition are only some of the concepts that run through the collection and tie the more than 6,000 works of art together. Finding connections within the artwork is an important part of what the curators do when choosing art for a new building or renovated area. In Common Threads, we take a look at some of the newest additions to the collection, many soon to be installed in the new Cancer Building and the Avon Hospital.
