How Do I Apply?
Applications open in June and will be open until the first week of September. Applicants will apply by uploading their required documents and requesting recommendations using the link supplied in the application. For more information, please check back in early June.
Eligibility requirements
The Cleveland Clinic Administrative Fellowship is intended for post-graduate students who have graduated within 6 months of their intended fellowship start date. Prior to starting the fellowship program, students must have completed a master’s degree from an accredited, U.S.-based university in health administration (MHA/MHSA), Public Health (MPH), Business Administration (MBA) or other related master’s degree program.
- Preferred candidates will have a degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME); however, applications from non-CAHME programs will be accepted for review.
- Applicants should be in the second year of their coursework, except in programs where the second year is a residency.
- Applicants must be on course to complete their degree before the fellowship start date in June.

Required application materials
Materials should be uploaded in a PDF format and files should be named according to the instructions on the application. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

- Two Essays:
- Essay 1: Personal statement of interest (1 page).
- Essay 2: To be announced upon application open.
First-round interviews
After a first-round review of all complete applications, we will notify applicants who have been chosen for a first-round interview. These interviews will take place in the first half of September.
Final round interviews
Applicants will be selected for final round interviews by the end of September and will be invited to a 2-day onsite interview in Cleveland.

How many fellows are selected?
Our cohort model hires up to eight fellows per year with opportunities for placement in both Ohio and Florida.
Can the fellowship be used to complete my residency placement?
Yes, some programs require a residency and the Cleveland Clinic Administrative Fellowship satisfies this requirement.
Does the Administrative Fellowship sponsor work visas?
No, we do not sponsor work visas for the fellowship year. However, the Cleveland Clinic Administrative Fellowship is considered a post-graduate educational program, in which student visas are extended during this period. Work visas are sponsored post-fellowship at the discretion of the hiring manager at Cleveland Clinic.

What if my graduation date is not in the spring?
Eligible applicants should be on track to receive their graduate degree no more than 6 months prior to their intended start date in June.
