About Mauricio Perilla Pineda, MD

Mauricio Perilla, MD, is an Associate Staff Member in the Department of General Anesthesiology at Cleveland Clinic's main campus. His specialty interests include Cardiothoracic Anesthesia,Difficult airway, Liver,Pancreas and Kidney Transplant.

Dr. Perilla earned his medical degree from Escuela de Medicina Juan N. Corpas in Bogota, Colombia. He completed an Anesthesiology residency at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, also in Bogota . And he completed a Cardiovascular Anesthesiology fellowship at the Instituto Nacional de Cardiologia Ignacio Chavez in Mexico. He also completed an internship and residency at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Perilla has published several peer-reviewed articles and lectured on topics such as Difficult Airway, Fiberoptic endoscopy in Anesthesiology and Anesthesia and Coronary artery disease.

Dr Perilla is the Section Head of Anesthesia, Glickman Urological Institute.
