Biographical Sketch
William J. Novak, Jr., MD, is on the associate staff of the Neurology Department and at the Sleep Disorder Center at Cleveland Clinic. He accepted these appointments in 2007.
His clinical interests include obstructive sleep apnea, circadian rhythm disorders, restless legs syndrome, and headache (migraine).
Dr. Novak completed his medical degree at Wright State University School of Medicine, Dayton, OH. He completed a sleep disorders fellowship at Cleveland Clinic and a residency in neurology at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Novak is licensed to practice medicine in Ohio.
He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

trends. The collaborations are reviewed as part of the Cleveland
Clinic’s procedures. The Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses
payments to its physicians and scientists for speaking and
consulting of $5,000 or more per year, and any equity,
royalties, and fiduciary relationships in companies with which
they collaborate. The Cleveland Clinic requires its doctors
to approve the public disclosures of their scientific
collaborations with industry. As of 2/22/2010 the review
process regarding Dr. Novak’s disclosure had not been
