Biographical Sketch

Yasmin E. Johnston, MD, is a Staff pathologist in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Cleveland Clinic's Weston, Fla. campus.

Dr. Johnston is board-certified by the American Board of Pathology, Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, American Board of Pathology, with special qualification in dermatopathology and the American Board of Pathology, with special qualification in cytopathology.

The former instructor of laboratory medicine at Yale University, received her medical degree from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, N.D. She completed an internal medicine internship at Baylor Affiliated Hospitals, Houston, Texas; a residency in pathology at St. Lukes Episcopal Hospital, Houston, Texas; and a pathology residency and dermatopathology fellowship at Yale-New Hospital, New Haven, Conn.

She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Dermatopathologists and College of American Pathologists. Dr. Johnston is licensed to practice medicine in New Jersey, Florida and California.
