Biographical Sketch
Robert A. Weiss, MD, is on Staff in the Department of Pediatrics at Cleveland Clinic Lorain. Previously, he was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy in Rootstown, Ohio, and at the Medical College of Ohio, Toledo.
Dr. Weiss received his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis. After completing an internship and residency in anatomic pathology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, he completed fellowships in surgical pathology at Stanford University Hospitals, Calif., and in anatomic pathology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston. Dr. Weiss pursued additional medical training with a pediatric internship at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo and pediatric residency at Case Western Reserve University/Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Weiss is certified by the American Board of Pathology and the American Board of Pediatrics, and is licensed to practice medicine in Ohio. He has written numerous journal articles pertaining to his specialty interests.
