Biographical Sketch
Elisa Ross, MD, FACOG, is a Staff Member in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. Her specialty interests include general obstetrics and gynecology. She is also an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Prior to joining the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Ross was an Associate Physician with Beachwood OB/GYN, Inc. She earned her medical degree from University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Mich. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University Hospitals of Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio
She has received several awards, including OB/GYN Professor of the Year, CCF Campus from the Ohio State University of Medicine Department of OB/GYN, among others. She has conducted research on glucose screening, cervical cancer screening, and folate metabolism, and has several publications on topics such as medical disease in pregnancy and septic shock.
