Provider seemed abrupt, rushed and judgmental

I was clearly her last patient and she was probably ready to go she knew more about my situation than I did

I believe the PA was at a disadvantage. I had to be prepared with my temperature, feeling for swollen lymph nodes and all while struggling with laryngitis. We had no discussion about the prescriptions just that she would call them into CVS. This was the first time I've ever had such a miserable cold and not be plagued with a sinus infection.

The provider assessed my situation. Though I'm still on medication for the next 5 days, I feel she helped me understand my symptoms.

Very short and seemed like I was a nuisance to her. However, she did resolve my issue which is why I thought the experience was fair.

I was grateful to meet with a provider quickly. However, I thought the providers bed side manor lacked empathy and I felt rushed. I was not offered thorough follow up care options either, which was disappointing.

She was excellent, professional, kind and efficient. She listened to all of my concerns. Then she talked to me about what she was going to prescribe. Then she recapped everything to make sure she had addressed all of my issues. She asked me if I had any questions. She did all of this fairly quickly but never made me feel rushed. She is wonderful.

Heidi and I disagreed on what my actual health concerns might be. Which is 100 percent ok. I felt respected when I declined her treatment, but at the same time I felt like she could have read my chart to see that I was already prescribed treatment for my anxiety. Side bar- turns out it wasn't anxiety

She was going to prescribe a medication that works; however I don't like the way it makes me feel. She listened and prescribed a different medication that worked and didn't have the other effects I didn't like.
