Biographical Sketch

Dr. Kevin Borst was hired as a Cleveland Clinic Endocrinologist in August 2010.  He graduated from medical school from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2005.  He completed his medical residency at MetroHealth in Cleveland, Ohio in 2008 and a Fellowship in Endocrinology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan in 2010.  His interests have included development and implementation of inpatient glycemic control protocols at both MetroHealth and Henry Ford Hospital.  His research interests include primary hyperparathyroidism and its relationship to obesity.

To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry.
