Purposeful Hourly Rounding
In order to assure every patient’s experience is always met with a nursing team of caregivers who are responsive to the needs of our patients and families, the Stanley Shalom Zielony Institute for Nursing Excellence at Cleveland Clinic implemented purposeful hourly rounding at all Cleveland Clinic hospitals. Effective nurse rounding helps manage patient expectations, provide necessary service recovery, promote quality care, recognizes exceptional caregivers and role model behavior. Hear patients and caregivers explain purposeful hourly rounding.
What it Takes
Our nurses have an admirable dedication to compassion and innovation. As they put patients first, Zielony Institute nurses embody the philosophy of world-class care. In their own words, here’s what it means to be a Cleveland Clinic nurse.
