For Researchers

Research is an integral part of the Miller Family Heart & Vascular Institute. Our mission is to understand the underlying causes of cardiovascular disease, develop new treatments and cures, and improve quality outcomes.

We bring together researchers, physicians and clinicians to conduct a variety of research activities that range from basic laboratory to clinical research. Our scientific and clinical teams publish their findings in peer-reviewed journals, adding to the body of science of cardiovascular medicine.

Our commitment to research is further enhanced by C5Research -- an academic research organization (ARO) within the Institute that provides clinical trial services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.
