Peds Q-L
The PedsQL is a health-related quality of life (HRQOL) measure for both healthy children and adolescents and those with acute and chronic health conditions. This assessment is a brief, multidimensional measure (Physical, Emotional, Social, School Functioning) that is valid, reliable and responsive to clinical change over time. The 23-item PedsQL Generic Core Scales were designed to measure both school functioning and the core dimensions of health as delineated by the World Health Organization. The 4 Multidimensional Scales include physical functioning, emotional functioning, social functioning, and school functioning. The three Summary Scores are: Total Scale Score, Physical Health Summary Score and Psychosocial Health Summary Score. A 4.5-point change in the Total Scale Score for parent proxy-report is a minimal clinically meaningful difference.
