Chaplains, ministers of any faith, can help support people who may be feeling anxious or facing difficult decisions. They maintain confidentiality in counseling relationships.

For Catholics, priests and Eucharistic ministers offer sacramental ministries, including the Sacrament of the Sick (Anointing) and the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession).

Chapel
The Catherine T. and John E. Gallagher Family Chapel is a quiet, peaceful place for prayer, meditation and reflection
Location: Cleveland Clinic main campus, Glickman Tower (Q Building), First Floor
Muslim Prayer Room
The Sheikh Maktoum Prayer Room for Muslim patients, visitors and Cleveland Clinic employees is available for use at all times.
Location: Cleveland Clinic main campus, Glickman Tower (Q Building), First Floor (Across from the Chapel near the Q elevators).
Friday Prayer is offered at 12:45 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. There is an adjoining prayer area within the prayer room for Muslim women who desire to join communal prayers.
Labyrinth on the Rooftop
A labyrinth is a form of walking meditation or prayer and is available on the rooftop of the Miller Pavilion on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
A Spiritual Care Department staff member is there to provide basic instructions and offer direction as needed.

Prayer Requests
A three-ring binder of public prayers and prayer requests for inclusion in personal prayers is in the Chapel, which is located on the first floor of Glickman Tower, near the Q elevators. A chaplain will pray these prayers daily.
Reflective Readings and Prayer Aids
The Spiritual Care Department provides reflective reading and prayer literature, as well as some prayer aids, upon request by calling the Spiritual Care Department at 216.444.2518 or ext. 42518 from any patient room.
These include:
- The New Testament and Psalms
- “Prayers for Comfort and Healing”— a collection of prayers from various faith traditions
- Other materials from specific faith traditions
- Prayer aids, including rosaries, novenas and electric Shabbat candles are available to assist individuals in their practice of prayer.
