The Red Carpet Program at Cleveland Clinic is designed to engage nurses, both RNs and LPNs, at various stages of their relationship with us in order to impact retention. Recruitment and retention are important components of nursing today and require concerted effort, due to an ever increasing demand for competent, engaged nurses
Eligibility: Current enrollment in a nursing school or program and successful completion of nursing fundamentals at an accredited nursing school.
Eligibility: New RN graduates who have accepted a full time staff nurse position in the Division of Nursing.
The Nursing Education Assistance Program (NEAP) is a program designed to assist qualified nurses who are willing to commit to a period of employment at Cleveland Clinic to reduce educational debt they may have incurred during their nursing education.
Eligibility: You must be enrolled full time in an accredited associate, baccalaureate or diploma degree program of study in Nursing and have a minimum 2.5 grade point average. Students enrolled in the BSN program are eligible for their junior and senior years of study. Diploma and associate degree students are eligible only for their senior year of study.
The Nursing Student Tuition Assistance program was developed by Cleveland Clinic to provide nursing students with monetary support for their educational expenses. Students receiving assistance under this program agree to a work commitment at Cleveland Clinic upon graduation.
Eligibility: Candidates must attend an accredited School of Nursing and be a senior level student, one year (or less) away from graduating when you begin employment with us. A minimum GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) is required. Candidates must currently be enrolled in courses that meet the requirements of their nursing education program and hold a current CPR certification.
The Nursing Associate program provides nursing students an opportunity to work under the supervision of a registered nurse(s). The goal of the program is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the basic safety, comfort and educational care needs for a routine nursing patient assignment while functioning at the Novice level. Students are assigned to patient care areas based on their area of clinical interest and unit availability across the healthcare system. This program is offered during the summer break as an eight-week full- time program or as a 16- week part-time program during the Spring and Fall academic semester.
Eligibility: Pre-sophomore or pre-junior students in good academic standing who have been accepted into the Nursing Program at Cleveland State University.
The Experiential Program allows you to work as an actual Cleveland Clinic employee on a part-time basis and participating in a one-credit hour course at CSU, students are provided with experiences that will help them become confident and well-adjusted nurses who can think on their feet.
