Oto-Neurology / Vestibular Disorders Program
The Oto-Neurology Section operates the Vestibular Laboratory, Oto-Neurology Clinic, and BPPV Service. Over 800 patients annually are tested in the vestibular diagnostic laboratory equipped with advanced digital video technology for the analysis of eye movements. A clinical short-arm centrifuge, digital video analysis workstation, and photon-free vestibular research facility allow for advances in vestibular testing. The Oto-Neurology Clinic sees over 1300 new and returning patients annually in a multidisciplinary setting that combines medical care, vestibular diagnostic testing, audiology, physical therapy, occupational and behavioral therapy. Over 60% of cases are managed with intensive rehabilitation.
